The Movement of Dance: Further Explorations

A favorite dancer, Meg Hoshor, came to the studio to work with me, to make images of movement in dance. I wanted to experiment and see what we could create utilizing only ambient (non-strobe) light. The idea was to explore the visual imagery produced by dance movement using available light with a long shutter exposure.

Herein, some of my “findings.”
